★★★ - It's 'ok' but there's nothing that great about it imo. Just barely worth its price.

★★ - Not good. Avoid if if you can coz it's not worth it unless you just collect flashlights.

Not entirely always - the Romisen RC-F4 is a 17670 or CR123 light. At a guess, size, weight, pocketability and therefore presence on your person when required.

utdanilo - The only reason I can think of is that I've been buying more AA/AAA flashlights recently than most other battery using flashlights. I am planning to buy more RCR / 18650 based flashlights now so I hope that will balance out over time. Also, I really haven't come across a superb non-AA/AAA light that really is bang for the buck and well made. (Many are just direct drive or use cheap 2-mode switches with resistor for low etc) If I do find one, I will definitely let it known. =)
