Well I didnt expect much , not at this price point in anyway . As it came it did not work , and it took me a little while to work out the problem . and find a solution .
Basically the tail cap spring retainer was not making contact , and I needed to add some spacers so that the threads of the cap were at a point where it was making contact .
Anyhow , the problem aside , this is a twisty design and as such is very basic , and very low priced , other than the tail cap problem the light is reasonably made for what is a dirt cheap light , so does it work ? Yes and ....
I measured the current drain and its 0.66A for around 15Lumen + output , which quite frankly is a little ridiculous these days , I was expecting a little more output , but for $3.50 shipped Im not surprised . Might be ok to mod some time in the future , maybe XP-E or XP-G , heck I have a spare SSC P4 or two lying around .
If you hate some one and need to find a gift for them , here you go , cant go wrong with this one .
Might make a nice mod host = MIGHT !

My Neighbour ordered 2 of these and they where both DOA. He made a spacer ring from a paper clip (like an O-ring) and laid it between the body tube and the head.
He also ordered this one from KD:

A little better build quality and it worked right out the box, but even a lot less bright than the NF.
