Looking back at my really old reviews that I posted at CFP, I can't believe how short some of those reviews were.

More like simple comments. I still did some runtimes and beam shots so I guess it did help out still. =P

The ratings of the flashlights take into account the price/quality and comparison against its competition at the time.

But as time goes by, the ratings may not be so correct as the newer ones these days are brighter / better and cheaper. (well most are)

So just use them as reference but the old ones are most likely not as good value as they were back then.

(still, there are standouts such as Romisen RC-F4 which is excellent even right now after more than 2 years!)
